York Gaskill Supports the Scott Schoenthal Circle of Love

At York Gaskill, we have a long history of significant involvement in the Duluth and Gwinnett County communities. Since 2017, Chip Gaskill has served on the board of directors for the Scott Schoenthal Circle of Love. The Circle is a non-profit organization founded by the Schoenthal family in honor of Scott Schoenthal, who died in his early 30s after a long battle with testicular cancer, leaving behind his wife and two young children.

The Circle raises money through community events held throughout Gwinnett County to financially assist cancer patients and their families as the patient goes through treatment for his or her cancer. The Circle's goal is to free the cancer patient up from financial pressures so they can focus on the fight against the disease.

In 2018, the Circle raised $80k, paid a mortgage for one month for 20 families, paid 55 utility bills, provided snacks at the local oncologist center for patients for 12 months, and gave out $3,000 in gift cards at Christmas to patients and families in the hospital at Christmas.

Join us April 13th, 2019 for the 2nd Annual Superheroes in Disguise Casino Night! The Circle's first casino night was such a success of smiles and true financial help for cancer patients and their families, they just had to do it again. Please support this incredible event!

In honor of our beloved Scott Schoenthal, The Circle will bring together many people from across the country to raise money to help families affected by cancer. The charity started out of the love for Scott, Misty, Brayden, and Brynli - and will continue to lift the financial burdens for families who are fighting! There will be food, music, our signature live auctions, and there will be tears and laughter and memories. Dress sharp, come ready to play, and be prepared to watch the power of Scott's Smile bring life and blessings to a room full of real people that need your help.
